Mikayla Simpson, better known as Koffee, a Jamaican reggae singer, has released her first album, “Gifted.”
Koffee has opted to tell the world that she is just getting started; her new album, which is a combination of reggae and dancehall genres, may be nominated for another Grammy as she presents a masterclass performance in the project.
Shine, Pull Up are among the album’s ten standout tracks. The reggae diva has continued the line and music route of late Bob Marley, following her smash song ‘Smach’ in 2018.
The singer is well-known throughout the world for her distinctive voice and place in the Jamaican reggae scene.
In recognition of her outstanding performance on the ‘Rapture EP‘, she received the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.
Her continual effort in the music industry, however, has resulted in her receiving such an honor.
Do you realize Koffe is only 22 years old and has already gotten such a prestigious award? It’s impossible to discuss modern-day reggae without mentioning Koffee.
The vocalist went on to collaborate with Gunna and John Legend after being the first female winner of the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.
Her preparations for the year don’t stop with the release of the ‘Gifted’ album; she’s also gearing up for a Latin American leg of Harry Styles’ world tour, which will feature Nigerian artists BNXN and Ayra Starr.
